You are definitely going to LOVE the location, and the prices are very affordable and fair. If you're on a budget, this is the way to go. No frills, not spotless but clean enough to not freak out (honesty is the best policy, right?). Beds are comfy, but I brought my own pillows and was happy I did. The owner is wonderful- friendly and attentive, seems he's running the place all on his own (not a lot of visible help or staff, but not totally sure) he's always around getting something done! As he was cleaning this AM, he noticed we were on our way to the beach and offered us to use free passes (we didn't know they had them). Thanks!
Shocked to see this motel has decent reviews. Been staying here 3 nights already, never have I ever slept worse in my life. It's absolutely absurd how uncomfortable these beds are. How obnoxiously loud the air conditioning is. And how filthy the whole room is. They leave an envelope to tip the maid, yet she doesn't clean at all. She lights a candle and makes the bed (with the same blankets and sheets). Disgusting. I'm so unhappy with the decision to pick this motel and will never come back or suggest to a friend
Sufficient for location. One block from the beach and boardwalk. Very close to convenience stores and grocers. First room received was a bit dirty, hair from previous people along with crumbs in bed, but dude at the front desk moved us without hesitation to a new room clean and ready. Pool was cleaned daily as well as beach passes to alleviate payment per day. Free coffee and muffins. Parking was a bit rough with such a small lot. Front desk attendant was very cool and pretty lax. No disturbances. Housekeeping comes as requested which is nice to not be bothered. Check out was a loose 10 AM. No big rush to get out. Dude at front desk let us keep beach passes after checkout to go out to the beach before we left. Also let us park in the motel lot until we were ready to leave after checkout. Good place and will return. Offer up to 10% discount for returning guests.
The hotel was surprisingly nice. Tile floors, nice layout, really close to board walk. (right across the street) the rates are amazingly low for all the bonuses involved.
Awesome location for the price. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Stayed in the apartment which was spacious for three friends. Decently clean room, very clean bathroom. No daily housekeeping, which would have been helpful, but staff accommodated whenever it was requested. Had to share a small, private deck with enough tables/chairs for one room with two other apartments which became awkward at times but not a deal breaker. Staff allowed us to use beach passes even after we checked out as well as letting us keep our cars in the lot. Very flexible staff!
