It may say 3 star but it's at most a 1 star hotel.
Just drove by there on 6/15/17. It looks like it's falling apart! The paint is peeling off and if it wasn't for the deli it would look deserted. It looks like the sign fell down and instead of replacing it, the stuck up printed cardboard that says Villa motel on it and that's either already falling down or was never put up properly. If the outside looks this bad because no one is putting money into fixing it up, I can only imagine the inside. I'm going to take pics tomorrow and post them.
Our room was assigned to another guest while we weren't there, multiple guests' room keys did not work (including ours). You would think they should know which rooms are booked already....
Nice quite room, they have a deli, make good sub, I wold recommend anyone to stay here.
Don't waste your time and especially your money!!! This place was a disappointment. The room was dirty, seems like they don't clean between guests. No towels in our room. Sheets had hair in them. Bathroom floor was dirty and bath tub was dirty as well.
Typical NJ motel property. Room was bigger than most and cool. 2 blocks from the beach. We like this beach better than many others in NJ. Convenience store on first floor. Close to all attractions. Parking on site.
It's a hassle trying to call to get help with anything, and hard to understand employees.
CHECK IN is a BLOCK AWAY
Staff here has been amazing! The room was clean and quiet with a nice balcony to sit on! We're definitely gonna stay here again
